@Scott I remained stubborn and stuck with Intel. I will regret it later (I'm sure), but for now I'll enjoy the anticipation of waiting for my new machine.
I just hope I don't need to buy a new GPU in a few months with the announcements coming tomorrow!
Thanks for the insight Scott. I'm a bit of a blind Intel fanboy honestly; I did research between the two quite extensively (and looked at TR a bit too), and for much of that research I was team AMD... but ultimately ended back up at Intel. I'm coming from an i7-6700K, so anything is an upgrade...
